EYES ON THE PATH

Keeping your eyes on the path is one of the simplest and most effective ways to help prevent a slip, trip, or fall. Staying alert to changing conditions, such as uneven surfaces, cords, tools, debris, and spills, helps you identify potential hazards and reduce the risk of injury. When on the jobsite, it’s important to maintain a clear line of sight, practice good housekeeping, and scan your route to help avoid a potential injury due to a slip, trip, or fall.

DENTAL HEALTH

Good oral health is an important part of overall health and well-being. Flossing daily, brushing twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste, and visiting the dentist regularly can help prevent cavities, gum disease, and tooth loss. Poor oral health has been linked to chronic conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and respiratory infections. Maintaining healthy teeth and gums not only supports proper eating and speaking, but it can reduce pain, improve confidence, and contribute to a better overall quality of life.

SUPINE SPINAL TWIST

The supine spinal twist is an effective way to improve flexibility and mobility in the lower back, hips, and trunk. To perform:

  1. Lie on your back and bring your arms out to your sides.

  2. Cross your right leg over your body while keeping the left leg straight and your shoulders on the floor.

  3. Turn your head to look away from the right leg

  4. Repeat on the other side
