Tripod Lift Technique

A tripod lift is used when lifting objects from low positions where a full squat lift isn’t practical, such as in tight or uneven settings, or heavier objects like bags of gravel. Kneel down on one knee, bend the upper body towards the object, slide the object up your knee, and into your power zone. Lift to a standing position using the legs and keeping the back straight. This technique reduces strain on the lower back, improves balance, and allows controlled lifting, especially for moderate to heavier loads.

Yogurt Benefits

Yogurt is a nutrient-dense food that supports overall health in multiple ways. It is an excellent source of high-quality protein, aiding muscle repair and satiety, and provides calcium and vitamin D for strong bones. Yogurt also contains probiotics that support gut health and digestion. Additionally, it supplies potassium, which helps regulate fluid balance, support muscle and nerve function, and maintain healthy blood pressure, making it a well-rounded option for daily nutrition.

Massage Gun Benefits

Massage guns have become a trendy recovery tool over the last several years. They can help reduce muscle tension, improve circulation, and enhance recovery by delivering rapid percussive therapy to soft tissues. Benefits include decreased soreness, increased range of motion, and temporary pain relief. Basic principles include using light to moderate pressure, limiting use to 1–2 minutes per muscle group, avoiding bony areas or acute injuries, and keeping the device moving. They are best used pre-activity for activation or post-activity to support recovery and relaxation.
